Easter just happens to be one of my favorite holiday's to decorate for. I love to pull out the bright happy spring colors when the outside world is waking up from it's long winter nap. Spring is also a time of new birth and growth of flowers and tree blossoms, and while it is fun to watch it all outside, it is even better to bring some of it inside.

How to catch a Leprechaun!
Tis the season you know, of the mischievous little green kind. You know, those little green men that like to come out at night and mess things up. Always making a mess and leaving behind proof that they were there. Well if your kids are like most kids then they probably get really excited and want to catch one. I know that my boys would love that!
Well here is a few tried and proven ways to catch those sneaky little buggers. I am personally a fan of the old box with a stick contraption. I haven't any luck catching one, but came close once!

St Patrick Activities For Kids
I think that it should be St Patrick's Day everyday! I mean, who wouldn't like to see all of the bright rainbows and happy colors? Well now you can see all of those things when you help your kids create some of these cute crafts that are just for kids! I am not going to lie though, I think that the play dough and the telescope caught my eye. I guess that I am still a kid at heart. :)

Oreo Layer Dessert
I found this beauty on Pinterest and I had to try it.
Let me just say OH MY.......
And my family loved it. I couldn't keep my kids out of it. If you like Oreo cookies then you will love this!
Oreo Layer Dessert
1 pkg of regular Oreos
1/2 c. of butter
1 lg box of instant chocolate pudding
2-8 oz cool whips
8 oz. of cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
Crush the whole package of cookies either with a food processor, or in a bag and a rolling pin. Save a 1/2 c. to sprinkle on top of dessert when it's done. Pour remaining crumbs in a 13x9 pan. Melt butter and pour into crumb mix. Stir it up good and press crumbs in bottom of pan to make a crust. Make chocolate pudding according to package directions and let it setup in the fridge. In a mixing bowl blend cream cheese until nice and smooth and then add powdered sugar, mix. Then fold in 1-8 oz thing of cool whip. Top oreolayer with cream cheese mix, then pudding, then your last 8 oz thing of cool whip, and then sprinkle remaining Oreo's on top. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
